Bangz Salon & Wellness Spa in Montclair is hosting its annual Face of Bangz Contest. The business supports numerous causes and charities through fundraisers and other events and is looking for a New Jerseyan to serve as its altruistic ambassador.
Bangz is looking for a woman who is community oriented and wants to make a difference in the world. If that is you, the winner surely could hail from Parsippany.
“The Face of Bangz Contest helps us to engage with the community and find out what is important to our clients and neighbors," said Manager Israel Cronk. "We are hoping to find someone who knows and understands that having beauty on the inside will execute on the outside as well."
To enter, log onto www.bangz.net and click on the “Are You the Face of Bangz?” link under the “News & Promotion” section of the website. From there you can click on the contest link, which will then allow you to upload a photo and in a short 100 word statement explain why they should be The Face of Bangz. The statement should tell why beauty on the inside is important to you and which charity/community service project you support and why. Entries must be received by Feb. 28, 2013.
A panel of judges will select 10 semifinalists based on the criteria of originality, creativity and kindness. Between March 11-18, the public can vote on www.bangz.net. The five contestants with the most votes will get to compete live in front of a judging panel at Bangz on an April date still to be determined.
One grand-prize winner will be crowned as the Face of Bangz for 2013. She will receive a year of Bangz beauty treatments valued at $1,500, a $500 donation to the charity of her choice and appearances at Bangz' Better World Foundation events.
The remaining four finalists will be awarded prize packages that include $100 gift cards to the salon and a $50 donation to the charity of their choice.
