On Monday, January 21^st Jersey Cares Martin Luther King, Jr Day of Service, over 2,000 Jersey Cares volunteers will participate in over 50 service projects across 15 New Jersey counties.

Volunteers throughout New Jersey will work to embody Dr. King’s vision and bring people of all ages and backgrounds together strengthening their communities and bridging social barriers. Volunteers will honor Dr. King’s legacy while displaying their own leadership skills as they brighten dull walls with fresh paint , assemble First Night Kits, participate in Sandy Relief projects, create “I Have a Dream” mobiles and peace bingo cards, build Seats for Social Justice using picnic tables and benches, serve hot meals, spend time with seniors, and organize donations.
