Parsippany turned out Saturday to celebrate the grand re-opening of the Parsippany Public Free Library on Halsey Road. In addition to a ribbon-cutting with Mayor James Barberio, there were special library programs for kids and adults.
The library's bottom floor had been closed for about five months when severe water damage was found after Hurricane Irene hit town last August. That meant the public had to do without the regular children's section, the library's large meeting rooms and tech labs.
