Par High Tops Hills By 3 in Crosstown Hoops Action

In a close game, Parsippany High School's Red Hawks bested its crosstown rival, the Parsippany Hills High Vikings in boys basketball Monday, 40-37.

The game, played at the High, was well attended: Just under 1,000 people were in the stands, among them Mayor James Barberio.

Students from both schools showed their spirit, with supporters of the High clad in red and Vikings fans in blue.

Both teams stayed in the mix during a game that stayed tight and competitive throughout. The Red Hawks were able to overcome a three-point deficit in the third period to grab the win.

Parsippany High's record stands now at 4-10; the Hills' hoopsters are at 3-12.
