Congratulations to Parsippany High School junior Bria Saunders in becoming the 55-meter dash State Sectional Champion.  Bria tied her school record with a time of 7.34 and earned her second Indoor State Sectional title in the 55-meter dash.

Other Red Hawks with a top six finish include junior Samantha Pignatelli who finished second in the 3200 meter run and fifth in the 1,600-meter run.  Sophomore Jamal Barnes finished fourth in the 55-meter high hurdles.

Athletes finishing in the top six advance to the State Group 2 meet that will take place on Feb. 16 in Toms River.
