Three people were stabbed in an altercation at a New Road apartment complex Monday afternoon, the Morris County Prosecutor's Office said.

According to Capt. Jeffrey Paul, a spokesman for Prosecutor Robert A. Bianchi, Brian Davis, 37, allegedly stabbed a 58-year-old woman and her 26-year-old daughter inside the Partridge Run apartment complex at 130 New Road.

Parsippany Police found Davis inside the apartment allegedly armed with a knife at about 3 p.m., the prosecutor's office said. Davis, who had also sustained stab wounds, was subdued by police after a brief struggle, the prosecutor's office said.

It was not immediately known how Davis sustained the stab wounds.

All three individuals were transported to Morristown Memorial Hospital. The 58-year-old female and Davis were in surgery as of Monday evening at about 6 p.m., the prosecutor's office said. The 26-year-old female was listed in stable condition, the prosecutor's office said.

The identities of the female victims are not being released.

Charges are pending against Davis, the prosecutor's office said.

The Morris County Prosecutor's Office Major Crime Unit and the Morris County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigation Section are jointly investigating the incident with the Parsippany Police Department.

Hey Fred....You really are an ass to say something like that. Did you see the scene, do you know what this person was capable of? Let's see you put yourself in that position especially when a handgun would not stop someone like that. These officers are trained to protect & you aren't there serving so I suggest you keep your comments to yourself.
