The Parsippany Police Department says $2,200 in equipment was stolen sometime over the weekend from a landscaper's trailer on New Road.

Police said the crime was reported Monday morning. The victim told Officer Brian Conover that between 3 p.m. Saturday and 8:45 a.m. Monday, equipment including two leaf blowers, two line trimmers and one hedge trimmer had been taken from the locked trailer, police said.

Conover found that the trailer's lock had been cut off, according to police.

The reported theft is currently under investigation.
