Council Continues Budget Talks, BOE Candidate Videos, PHS Presents 'My Favorite Year'
That's what's happening this week. And that's what we'll be writing about.
The Township Council should continue hashing out its budget at Tuesday night's meeting. And now that election season is getting underway, challenging candidates should be there, piping up about what the town should and shouldn't spend money on. We'll be posting after the meeting, so you can read about it here.
Board of Education candidates kicked off their campaigns at last week's PTA candidates night. This week, they'll introduce themselves to Patch readers on video and we'll have coverage starting tomorrow.
In other news, we'll have a story on Parsippany High School's spring musical production of "My Favorite Year.'' Peter O' Toole won an Oscar for the film adaptation in 1982. The Broadway version came along in the 1990s. How will a cast of teens pull it off? We'll let you know.
On Saturday, Parsippany Eats columnist Susan Alai will be continuing her quest for the township's best pizza. But she needs your help! Tell her where she should stop next. And read about it on Saturday.
We'll also have police news, the start of high school baseball season and lots of other stuff. And Mom Next Door Columnist Amy Lamperti, who happens to be an expert on playgrounds, will begin her weekly review of Parsippany playgrounds on Thursday. So keep reading!
