Creation Entertainment began its involvement in the "Twilight" phenomenon in 2009 when an overwhelming fan base triggered the organization to take its leap at including "Twilight" to the list of genre television and film franchises. Since then, Creation has given attendees a chance to immerse themselves in all of the aspects of the popular saga.

Host Matt Berman and publicist, Monica Gillen, of Creation Entertainment, are proud to hold such events for such a responsive crowd.

“My favorite part of hosting these conventions is having everyone come over to me and the staff, and thanking us for a great weekend,” Berman said.

“We enjoy bringing the events to New Jersey and helping people have a good time,” Gillen said.

More than 500 attendees came from all over the state to partake in the convention and meet the Twilight stars.

Megan Gerami, 15, and Heather Delaney, 15, of Nutley, expressed their excitement of meeting "Twilight" star Booboo Stewart.

“He’s so adorable,” Gerami said, laughing. “His abs are to die for.”

“I really love his whole personality; he’s really nice,” Delaney said. “He looked a little nervous on stage, but I would be, too.”

Gerami added that this was her first time attending a Creation "Twilight" convention.

“I like it a lot,” she said. “I had fun looking at all the stuff and seeing everyone, getting all dressed up. I love 'Twilight;' I’ve watched every movie, of course. Who doesn’t?”

Some fans even flew in from out of the country to partake in the convention. Leuriale Bedard, 23, Stephanie Masse, 21, and Rachel Bamie, 30, came from Quebec City.

“We love it,” Bedard said. “We travel a lot for conventions. We went to Toronto, Arlington, New Jersey, and we’re going to Boston in three weeks.”

Stewart also said he enjoyed participating in the convention.

“This is my second time coming to Parsippany,” Stewart said. “It’s been great. I’m having a fun time. I love all the volunteers that come help us and just being able to be with all the fans and hang out with everybody.”

The fourth installment of the Twilight Saga, "Breaking Dawn," is set to hit theatres in November. Stewart described his filming experience to be an “awesome” one.

“It was so great,” he said. “Being able to go be a part of something that’s going to be movie history just feels really cool.”

The convention will continue through Sunday afternoon. For more information, visit www.creationent.com.
