There is a wide range of activities and events available to you and yours this weekend, and as is Get Out's mission, they are recounted for you below. But we would be remiss not to point out that this looks to be quite the musical weekend. With a tribute to the great Cole Porter in Basking Ridge, Paquito D'Riviera's cool jazz at the Mayo Center, classical sounds in Chatham and the post-punk ear candy that is the Lost Patrol, you've got a marvelous array of music to give you a tuneful time this weekend. Or you can catch a cat show in Bridgewater. Go, get out of the house. 

Lovin' Cole: A Cole Porter Revue
When/Where: Thursday and Friday at 8 p.m. and Saturday at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, at 140 South Finley Ave., Basking Ridge
Why Go: Because you don't have to go far to see Ridge Light Opera of New Jersey's original production of Lovin' Cole, a Cole Porter cabaret-style revue featuring the American composer's classics
Cost: Tickets are $25 for adults, $20 for seniors and students, and are available online.

NJ Young Professionals Cocktail Party
When/Where: Friday at 7 p.m. at the Basking Ridge Country Club, 185 Madisonville Road, Basking Ridge.
Why Go: You're a young professional and you want to network, drink cocktails and dance to DJ Paul Anthony while helping the United Way of Northern New Jersey.

Paquito D'Riviera
When/Where: Friday, 8 p.m. at Mayo Performing Arts Center, Morristown
Why Go: You like cool jazz, Latin and classical sax and clarinet from a master of the craft.

Saturday Morning Bike Ride
When/Where: Saturday, 8 a.m. from Marty's Reliable Cycle, Morristown
Why Go: You refuse to take the winter off from your training regimen.
Cost: Free

Songs from Glee
When/Where: Saturday at 9 a.m. at  All Children's Theatre,  1180 Route 46, Parsippany
Why Go: Because there are few things more life-affirming than giving kids the chance to sing Journey songs as a chorus
Cost: $275 for a five-week session ending March 3

Family Photo Scavenger Hunt
When/Where: Saturday, 9 a.m. at Frelinghuysen Arboretum, Morris Township
Why Go: You want to enjoy nature and have an adventure in a beautiful place.
Cost: $10

Meow-Wow 2012 Cat Show
When/Where: Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at the 4-H Center on Milltown Road in Bridgewater.
Why Go: Because who doesn't love cute kittens? Check out the Whiskers, Paws & Claws with the 4-H Club as the top felines compete in the Meow-Wow Cat Show.
Cost: $2

Grace Counseling Center's Annual Gala
When/Where: 5 p.m. Saturday at Drew University, 36 Madison Ave., Madison
Why Go: To taste wonderful wines and support Grace's community services
Cost: $85 per person

Year of the Dragon
When/Where: Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Museum of Early Trades & Crafts, 
9 Main St., Madison
Why Go: To ring in the Year of the Dragon
Cost: $3 for participants

The Lost Patrol Plays Architekt
When/Where: Saturday at 6:30 p.m. at Architekt, 1 Boonton Ave., Butler
Why Go: To catch a live performance of the band most well-known for songs featured on the CW hit show Gossip Girl and new television show Chronicle.
Cost: $12

Comedy Night
When/Where: Saturday, 8 p.m. at Morristown Jewish Center - Beit Yisrael
Why Go: Three professional comedians, dessert, coffee and tea makes for a nice night out.
Cost: $36

The Super Sunday 4-Miler
When/Where: Sunday, 11:30 a.m. from 31 South St., Morristown
Why Go: Before you plop in front of the tube for the Super Bowl, put on your running shoes and join 1,000 other runners for this inaugural event.
Cost: $30

NJ Camp Fairs
When/Where: Sunday at 12 p.m. at the Bridgewater Marriott, 700 Commons Way, Bridgewater
Why Go: To find the right summer camp for your child (For a list of all the participating camps, visit the website at njcampfairs.com.)
Cost: Free

Hausmann Quartet
When/Where: Sunday at 3 p.m. at the Presbyterian Church of Chatham Township, 240 Southern Blvd., Chatham
Why Go: To take in a little classical music before the Super Bowl begins
Cost: $20

Crossroads Divorce Support Group
When/Where: Sunday at 7 p.m. at St. Peter the Apostle Church, 179 Baldwin Road, Parsippany
Why Go: To learn how to let go and move forward with dignity, peace and love
Cost: Free
