Music and animal fun for the kids this week.

St. Patrick’s Day Celebration Concert
Where/When: From 7 to 9 p.m. at the Family Service of Morris County Administrative Office in Morristown on Friday, March 18.
Why Go: J.J. Chaisson, a maritime fiddler from Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia, will be visiting to perform in Morris County.

Frogs in Love
Where/When: At Pyramid Mountain Natural Historic Area, which runs through Kinnelon, Montville and Boonton, from 1 to 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 19.
Why Go: Because children 5 or older can learn about frogs and their love songs. Bring binoculars.

Matilda’s Bunny Brunch
Where/When: At 1:30 p.m. at the Frelinghuysen Arboretum in Morris Townshipon Saturday, March 19.
Why Go: Because Susan Prisco, a rabbit breeder, will speak about rabbits, there will be tea time, and guests can make a spring themed garden craft. For ages six or older.
Pricing: $30. Pre-registration is required at 973-326-7601.
Astro Day
Where/When: From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., with night sky observatory hours from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Morris Museum in Morris Township on Saturday, March 19.
Why Go: Because there will be a chance for children 5 or older to design their own planets from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. as a part of Super Science Saturday. There will be activities throughout the day, lectures, telescope training and more.
Pricing: Free with museum admission, which is $7 per child and $10 per adult.
Popovich Comedy Pet Theater
Where/When: At 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. at the Community Theatre in Morristown on Sunday, March 20.
Why Go: Because Popovich Comedy Pet Theater includes dozens of animals. You can see Gregory Popovich, a Russian circus performer and juggler.
Pricing: $25, with tickets available online.
Vernal Equinox Hike
Where/When: From 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Pyramid Mountain Natural Historic Area on Sunday, March 20.
Why Go: Because families with children ages 7 or older can hike through the mountain and learn about equinox history and folklore.
