Missing 10-Year-Old Youth Located in Township
William "Scotty" Justus was found on New Road and returned home late Saturday afternoon
A missing Parsippany youth was located in the township this afternoon after earlier being reported missing in the area of Rutgers Lane and New Road.
William "Scotty" Justus, 10, had been believed to be missing since 2:45pm Saturday afternoon after riding his Razor scooter in the area, resulting in several Reverse 911 calls being sent out by the Parsippany Police along with notifications on their respective Twitter and Facebook accounts.
"He was found and is safe," Parsippany Police Officer Earl Kinsey stated.
Justus, who is approximately 5-feet tall and 100 pounds, had left home wearing a green and yellow jacket and blue and black shoes.

This story was very upsetting. I did not get the original story from the patch, but on my answering machine. it ws heart-wrenching.. I'm very relieved that William was found safe, but did someone try to abduct him or was he just playing somewhere with his friends and not tell his parents?

That's how we heard also. The children were quite upset. And I had the same question, was he playing somewhere else or did someone try to adduct him? Very upsetting....

hi everyone im scotty's stepmom and i want to say thank you to ALL that helped look for him expecialy the kids. we did find him in another childs home where he was hanging out. He had an argument with his mom. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!! i can't even begin to say how thankful i am that everyone reacted as fast as they did.
