New Jersey State Offices Closed Tuesday

Hurricane Sandy shutters state offices a second day.

Gov. Chris Christie order state offices to close Tuesday because of the harsh weather conditions Hurricane Sandy is visiting upon New Jersey.

State offices were also closed on Monday. Non-essential employees should not report for their normal day shift on Tuesday, while essential employees should report to work on schedule, according to a press release issued by the governor's office.

All notifications are currently being made and coordinated by the New Jersey Office of Emergency Management in an expeditious manner.
