Par-Troy Playground Features a Tree House and Tennis

Climb the inside of a tree to find the slides at Smith Field

Heading east on Route 46 just after you pass Smith Field, make a right after the Empire Diner onto Grange Road to park next to the tennis courts or playground and picnicking area. There you'll find a magnificent place for kids to play.

There are four courts at Smith Field. Right next to them, you will see the coolest tree house ever.

Duck inside the little doorways to find leaf shaped steps that will take you to the top and lead you to the slides.

Once you’ve fully explored the delights of the tree house, follow the paths that veer off to the left to a wooded picnicking grove with more playground fun and lots of soothing shade.

Bathrooms and water fountains add to the amenities at this wonderful park. You are probably used to watching games on one of the many playing fields or seeing them in action from Routes 46 and 80--sometimes lit up at night.

Explore the complex via paved paths, read a book on one of many park benches or plan a party in the reservable picnic area.

Route 46 offers tons of restaurants and shopping.  At the Troy Hills Shopping Center just a littler further east on 46, you can choose from McDonalds, Five Guys, Subway, Muscle Maker Grill and Moe’s Southwest Grill.
