Parsippany Detectives Probe Sedgefield Drive Burglary

Police encourage anyone with information on the reported crime to contact the department.

A Sedgefield Drive home was found burglarized Tuesday night, Parsippany Police said Wednesday.

Police said Sgt. Thomas Lesiak and Officer Jeffery Magahan spoke with the homeowner upon their arrival just after 6:50 p.m., and learned that closets and dresser drawers were left open throughout the house.

Entry appears to have been made through rear sliding glass doors, which were also found open, police said.

Department spokesperson Patrolman Earl Kinsey said the homeowner reported that a Canon Digital Stylist 1050SW camera valued at $150 was missing.

Police ask anyone with information regarding the incident or any suspicious activity in the area to contact the Parsippany Police Department at 973-263-4300.
