Police Called to 2 Waterloo Drive Burglaries
No word on whether the two incidents are related.
Parsippany Police officers responded to reports of two residential burglaries on Waterloo Drive last Friday evening.
Police said a briefcase was reported missing from one home.
According to police, the home was entered through a rear door between 7 and 10 p.m. The briefcase was later found by a neighbor, police said. All of the contents were still inside, police said.
A laptop computer was the reported stolen from the second home, police said.
At this Waterloo Drive address, police said a caretaker reported discovering a basement window forced open.
Police said the incidents are being investigated by the Morris County Criminal Investigative Section.

Crime is rising. If NJ passed an Concealed Carry permit then we probably wouldn't see as much of these types of crimes. Criminals would be more reluctant if they knew they could get harmed.

Don't see your reasoning, since the vast majority of these burglaries occur while a home is empty.
