A silver Porsche with New York license plates is sought in connection with a residential burglary on Ferncliff Road last Friday afternoon.

A laptop computer, a digital camera and jewelry valued at $3,000 were reported stolen in the burglary, which is believed to have occurred at about 4:15 p.m., according to Officer Earl Kinsey, a spokesman for the department.

Kinsey said the homeowners told officers they arrived home and found their front door unlocked and bedrooms ransacked.

A police canvass of the neighborhood was unsuccessful, he said.

Det. Edward Conklin said he is looking for any information regarding a Silver Porsche Cayenne with New York plates that was occupied by four Hispanic men seen in the neighborhood.
