Body Found in Rockaway ID'd as Missing Man

The body found in Rockaway Township Friday has been identified as Kyle S. Harris, who was reported missing by his family last month, the Morris County Prosecutor's Office said.
Harris, 20, was reported missing by his family on July 31. Rockaway Township police officers found his body while searching the woods near Mt. Hope Pond off Richard Mine Road—just down the street from where he lived.
The cause and manner of his death is still pending results by the Morris County Medical Examiner’s Office, the prosecutor's office said.
Assisting in the search were the Morris County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Unit and the New Jersey Search and Rescue Team. Members of The Morris County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crime Unit, Morris County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Section and the Morris County Medical Examiner’s Office all responded to jointly investigate.

My condolences to the family. I have been praying that Kyle would return home safely. May he be at rest with his Heavenly Father, and I pray that his family will find peace. My heart goes out to all families of missing persons. As difficult as this is, I am glad that it did not linger on for a very long time, with his family not knowing what happened to him, and I pray that they will find out, and hopefully they will have some degree of closure. Kyle, may you rest in Peace, young man.

Hopefully they will be able to conclude the cause of death quickly, so his family can have closure. My condolences to his family and friends, and may Kyle rest in peace.
