Readers' Choice: Some Great Places for St. Paddy's
Plenty of places to go this Saturday in Parsippany.
In honor of St. Patrick's Day, Readers' Choice featured places in Parsippany where you can celebrate this weekend.
We had some great establishments listed this week. Check them out and head to one on Saturday to enjoy your day/night!
Here are the St. Paddy's hot spots:
Half Point Pub, 29 Reynolds Ave., hosts a full day of St. Patrick's Day fun on Saturday, including corned-beef specials, music, entertainment—and bagpipes may make an appearance.
American Legion Post 249 St. Patrick's Day Dinner Dance at 91 N. Beverwyck Road on Saturday from 6-10 p.m. Naturellement, the main course will be corned beef with all the trimmings.
Blackthorn Irish Restaurant & Pub, 1735 Route 46, to no one's surprise is all over St. Pat's Day. Throughout Saturday, the Irish pub features step-dancing performances, Irish bands and bagpipers, drink specials and Irish edibles in what the establishment says is New Jersey's biggest Irish pub party. We suspect the Guinness will be flowing.
Mount Holleran Towne Tavern, 450 N. Beverwyck Road, changes its name for the holiday, becoming the Mount O’Holleran’s Towne Tavern. For Saturday, the bar and restaurant promises an all-day St. Patrick's blowout. On tap: corned beef and cabbage specials, bagpipers, drink specials, holiday giveaways and a show by Fuel Daddy, a party band that covers classic and modern rock.
