New School Year Begins and Zoning Board Meets This Week
What's happening in Parsippany over the next seven days
High schoolers can get an early leg up on the Scholastic Aptitude Test. An SAT Prep Course takes place at Parsippany High School Tuesday at 6 p.m. The course costs $599. A free practice test will be offered at the High as well, and you don't have to take the course to try your hand at the fully-proctored practice SAT, so you can experience what to expect in a test-like environment and learn your individual strengths and weaknesses.
Neighbors-Helping-Neighbors, a free peer-led volunteer support group for people actively looking for work meets Tuesday at 7:15 p.m. at the Parsippany-Troy Hills Library, Lake Hiawatha Branch at 68 Nokomis Ave. in Hiawatha.
