Schools Closed Thursday Due to Storm
Initial delayed opening turned into a full snow day.
The Parsippany school district website announced that schools will be closed Thursday due to the snow storm.
On Wednesday night, it announced there will be a two-hour delayed opening Thursday due to the snowstorm, but by Thursday morning, there was a message that schools were closed.
All state government offices will have a delayed opening due to the storm that dumped about a foot of snow by the early-morning hours.
All branches of the Parsippany-Troy Hills Public Library will be closed Thursday but the Police Athletic Building will re-open at 2 p.m.
