Some Charges Dismissed Against Ex-Firefighter
Judge throws out aggravated arson, burglary and official misconduct charges.
Three charges of aggravated arson, burglary and official misconduct contained in a 10-count indictment against a former Parsippany firefighter were thrown out by a Sussex County judge Friday, according to the Daily Record.
Suspended Morris County Sheriff’s Officer Jason Campbell, who was recently arrested with his wife on drug charges, also had his bail lowered on those charges, which was set at $200,000. Campbell will be released on his original $75,000 property bond, but will need to submit to weekly urine monitoring, the Daily Record reporter.
