Cops: Man Wanted for Stealing Truck Found in Town

The following arrest information was supplied by the Parsippany Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

 

A man wanted for allegedly stealing a pickup truck in Colorado was found recently at a Parsippany hotel.

Ronald A. Stallcop, 55, of Colorado Springs, Colo., was charged with receiving stolen property after Parsippany Police found him and the 2006 Ford pickup at the Residence Inn, police said.

Authorities were made alerted of the theft by the Littleton Police Department in Colorado. 

Parsippany Police said Officer Michelle Kardos went to the Residence Inn at 3 Gatehall Drive in search of the vehicle, and found it there and located Stallcop, who had a room at the hotel.

Stallcop was transported to headquarters for processing and charged with receiving stolen property, police said. Bail was set at $2,000 with a 10 percent option.

Police said Stallcop was taken to the Morris County Correctional Facility in default of bail.
