Pick Your Favorite Child Care Center or Preschool

Patch wants to know the Readers' Choice!

Sometimes the best way to find out the best place to send one's child for early learning and daycare experiences is to gather word-of-mouth recommendations. This week's Parsippany Patch Readers' Choice polling can help parents do exactly that.

Which child care or preschool establishment is the best, in your opinion? Let Patch and your neighbors know! Pick one of the selections in the poll below and tell us why in the comments—this is an important component of the process so that your neighbors know what makes your choice the best. And if there is a place not included on the list, check the box for Other and let us know its name and qualifications in the comments.

This week's contestants:

Voting runs until Friday, March 9, at 9 a.m. The winner will be announced shortly after noon on Friday.

Tell us your choice, Parsippany! Please participate, and spread the word to your friends.

Editor's note: Because this poll is not scientific, it is not the sole consideration in choosing a winner. The winner will be determined by the Patch editor, based on poll results, comments and ratings and reviews on Patch Places. Please vote only once per survey, per Patch.

My daughter Nichole attended St. E's from 2 and 1/2 years old through 6th grade. She could not have been in a better school. She was provided an education that is second to none. She was accepted into all of the private schools that she applied to. The Sisters and the staff not only prepared her academically but also helped to make her the wonderful young lady she is today. St. Elizabeth's School will always be close to our hearts and the staff and the Sisters will forever be considered our second family. You cannot find a better school than this!!!

Hearts and hands rules! The faculty within itself is like a family to each other and there love and respect for each other is passed down to the children as well. They teach not only above and beyond the required curriculim but they teach respect, mannners ect.

Hearts and Hands is a wonderful family friendly school with so much to offer. My two son's have both attended this school. They have an educational curriculum and they offer both art and music classes with the tuition. The school is very clean. The teachers have a true love for children and they nurture the children. My son is going into the 4 year old class in the fall and in this class Hearts and Hands prepares the children for kindergarten by making sure they know the basics plus. I couldn’t be happier with this school.

Also, let’s give credit where credit is due. If it weren’t for the Director, Ms. Michele, the school wouldn’t be the family oriented school it is. Changes are it would be like another chain daycare facility. Michele knows the parents and the children and makes it a warm and loving environment. She goes out of her way to help parents too. She is a true blessing to Hearts and Hands Preschool.

Infant Incare is the best in town. The staff is mature and the women there are all moms, who have worked there for 25+ years. They are loving, infinitely kind and always treat each parent and child with respect. They worked with me when my daughter was having sleeping issues by changing nap times (not easy). It's not the glossiest, fanciest place, but if you want a home-like atmosphere where it's not at all clinical and people get to know and love your child for their own unique qualities, I highly recommend Incare.

No offence to Incare in Parsippany but I do think it is important for any parent to do their research through the state to make sure there are no violations against the school.

Debra i totally agree with you. Ive sent my children to many daycares in the area and hearts and hands makes my children feel like home. When they graduate hearts and hands they are prepared for kindergarden. Hearts and hands definitely is the best preschools in parsippany. I wouldnt recommend no other preschool. Its all because of one super fantastic person Ms Michelle, the preschools director. She is the heart and soul of Hearts and Hands.

Hearts n hands all the way!!!!!! The staff is amazing!!!! All kids in all the classes get to interact w each other n every teacher knows every student, not just the ones in their class. So it definetly feels like family to the kids n the parents. The kids learn so much there , the staff is patient n friendly n the director Miss Michele really knows how to run the school. Her dedication n sincerity n love is carried on throughout the school. It truly is a pre school like no other n really deserves to be recognized!!!!!
