After all, our pets are Par-Troy residents too. Why not celebrate them?

When we ran our first Cutest Pet Contest last summer, readers submitted the photos of many darling four-footed family members. The eventual winner wasMoxie, Ashleigh Murray's sweet hybrid Chichin. Now, it's time to find a successor.

So, to have a little fun this week as we get closer to the end of spring, we're bringing you the Cutest Pet of Parsippany Spring 2012 Photo Contest. Upload springtime photos of your cute pet directly to this article. Don't forget to include their name, age, breed and what part of town they (a.k.a. you) live in.

Once the photos are on the site, it's up to you to get your friends to vote for your pet as the "cutest." Promote your pet on your Facebook walls and Twitter tweets asking your friends to come to Parsippany Patch and vote in the comments of the post.

How do friends vote for the cutest pet? They simply have to leave a comment on the post saying, "I vote for [pet's name]." Whichever pet has the most votes will be named the "Cutest Pet in Parsippany" and a brief story about the pet will be posted next week on Parsippany Patch. The winner will be announced at 9 a.m. Monday.
