Central Jersey Cat Fanciers holds its 12th annual Cat Show at the Sheraton Parsippany Jan. 4-6, 2013. Show hours will be 3-9:30 p.m.Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $8 for adults, $6 for seniors and children 4-12 and free for kids under 4.Judging will take place in seven different rings each day, and 250 cats of many breeds and from all over the nation and other countries are expected to compete.  There is also a special category for household pets and kittens, which need not be purebreds. Final awards will be presented in each category. The show will also feature vendors selling gift items for you and your pet, scratching posts, magazines, jewelry, toys as well as unusual items. Food will be available at the hotel as well.Rescue group Angel Paws will be on hand to offer homeless pets for adoption.For info, call 570-807-0406.
