The Watoto Children's Choir from Uganda will present a "Concert of Hope" Wednesday, Nov. 7, at 7:30 p.m. at Parsippany United Methodist Church, 903 S. Beverwyck Road. Through its music and dance, an energetic fusion of contemporary gospel and traditional African rhythm, the choir provides a colorful and lively demonstration of the life-changing love of God. Concert admission is free. Watoto Children's Choir members are among the 1.8 million boys and girls in Uganda who have lost one or both of their parents to disease or war. At Watoto villages, parentless children are provided spiritual, physical, educational and emotional care so that they will become responsible and productive citizens of Uganda.
An offering will be received during the concert to support the Watoto villages.
