NJ Director of the ADL to Speak at Parsippany's Adath Shalom Congregation The New Jersey Director of the Anti-Defamation League, noted Reform Rabbi Jeffrey Salkin, presents The Z Word, Why Does Zionism Drive The World Crazy? on Friday, November 16, 2012 at 7:15 pm at Congregation Adath Shalom. His discussion, presented by Adath Shalom's Israel Affairs and Continuing Education committees, will focus on the hot button topics of Israel, Zionism and respectful criticism of both. Rabbi Salkin has served in leadership positions within the Reform movement, Zionist and other international Jewish organizations. He is one of American Jewry's most quoted rabbis and is the best selling author of Putting God On The Guest List: How To Reclaim The Spiritual Meaning of Your Child's Bar or Bat Mitzvah. His most recent book is Text Messages: A Torah Commentary for Teens. This exciting program is free and all are welcome. Refreshments served.
