Comedian/Psychologist to Talk Drugs with Par-Troy Parents

A Parsippany Library program on Wednesday will help answer questions for those in the home buying market.

Things have changed a lot since parents today were kids themselves. To get up to date with what substances and drugs your children are exposed to, the Parsippany Municipal Alliance Committee is hosting a free event to educate parents in a fun way.

The speaker will be Matt Bellace, PhD, is a comedian, psychologist, motivational speaker and author of "A Better High."

Bellace "blends science and comedy to help parents tackle tough issues like substance abuse through positive decision-making," said Parsippany MAC. "The program is free and especially designed for parents, aunts, uncles, grandparents or other adults.  So feel free to bring a friend."

Bellace will be presenting Resilience, "The Power to Rise Above" as a positive, science-based and entertaining approach to substance abuse prevention at 7 p.m. on Wednesday at the Parsippany High School auditorium. For more information, go to MattBellace.com or Parsippanymac.com
