Mt. Tabor to Host Family Game Night

Parsippany's Municipal Alliance Committee (MAC) is hosting an event for parents and community members on Thursday at 7 p.m.—Identify the Signs of Substance Abuse (presented in partnership with High Focus).

This event will be at Parsippany PAL. MAC is group of volunteers appointed by the Mayor that work to prevent alcohol and drug abuse in the community.  

"This event is critical for parents, grandparents, neighbors and others to understand some of the warning signs of substance abuse and other drugs since it's often more difficult to identify than alcohol use," said Annelise Catanzaro, chairwoman of MAC.

The Parsippany-Troy Hills Board of Education meets on Thursday at the Board of Education Building at 7:30 p.m.

There are plenty of other school events on Thursday:

• Central MS has its WWS Game Day at 7 p.m.
• Mt. Tabor has its Family Game Night at Atlantic Bread Company
• PHHS Senior Superlatives are on Thursday as well 
• PTSA PHHS meets at 6:30 p.m.
