Another Successful Event Benefits Education in Parsippany

The Annual "Tee Off For Education" Golf Classic held Tuesday, July 9th at the Knoll Country Club West, had over 100 golfers and friends participating in the fundraiser.  Sponsored by the Woman's Club of Parsippany-Troy Hills, this event funds the Club's Scholarship/Education Fund, which is used for Parsippany school children.  With the proceeds from last year's event, the Club was able to honor 24 children from elementary through high school with various awards.

A special guest at the luncheon was the NJ State Federation of Women's Clubs State President, Linda Babeuf, of Rumson.  Other members of the Federation State Board, as well as members of local Women's Clubs also attended the festivities.  In addition, Parsippany’s Mayor James Barberio, Councilman Michael dePierro, who golfed, several fellow civic club members and others from the business community also attended the event to show their support.  The Woman’s Club wishes to thank the members of the business community and those that generously supported this event.
