Daniel Galorenzo Foundation to Hold 10th Annual Golf Outing

The Daniel Galorenzo Foundation will hold its 10th annual gala dinner and golf classic on Tuesday, Aug. 20, at the Knoll Country Club West in Parsippany.

Daniel Galorenzo was a Hanover resident and Seton Hall Prep wrestler who died suddenly of an aortic aneurysm at age 16 in 2002.

The foundation’s mission is to enhance the quality of life for children with life-threatening illnesses, giving them back what their illnesses have taken away — dignity, laughter and hope.

The foundation has donated more than half a million dollars to children’s charities, including The Valerie Fund, The Children’s Hospital at the Cleveland Clinic, The Make-A-Wish Foundation, and to special needs children.
