Morris Habitat Staff Benefit from County College of Morris Program

Randolph, NJ: A big thank you goes out to the Center for Business & Technology (CBT) at County College of Morris (CCM) for providing free training to the staff from Morris Habitat for Humanity.  Many of the Morris Habitat staff go out and give presentations and run events, so the workshop on public speaking was greatly appreciated.

The County College of Morris Center for Business & Technology provides an extremely valuable service to Morris County businesses by offering no-cost training.  In the past Morris Habitat staff has benefited by attending one day classes at the college, but recently the college brought a public speaking workshop right to the Habitat offices in Randolph for customized training onsite.

The Morris Habitat staff has benefited greatly from these courses.  Liz DeCoursey, Morris Habitat Director of Operations said that, “the partnership with the CBT at CCM is strengthening our workforce at no cost to our non-profit organization, which allows us to spend our funds directly on helping families with a hand-up to homeownership, which is our mission.”
