Parsippany Elks Sponsoring Essay Contest
The Americanism Committee of the Parsippany Elks Lodge No. 2078 is running an essay contest for students in the 5th through 8th grades entitled “What Does Veterans Day Mean To Me?”
The lodge will be awarding savings bond certificates to the winners of this contest split between two groups: 5th & 6th graders and 7th & 8th graders as follows:
1st Place = $100

3rd Place = $25

The completed essays should be returned to Bill Wall at the Parsippany Elks Lodge located at 230 Parsippany Road in Parsippany, NJ 07054. Each entry must not contain more than 250 words and contain the student's name, grade, school and teacher's name. The deadline for entry is January 10, 2014. The winning entries will then be forwarded up to our District Level committee for further consideration.
