Community Corner

Visiting Nurse association of Northern New Jersey Volunteer Needed

House Call Groceries for seniors is one of the VNA's community service programs whereby volunteers provide critical weekly grocery shopping services for homebound seniors in Morris County.

Volunteers shop for groceries paid for by the homebound client and then deliver to the client's home.  Volunteers must be 16 and over to participate and must have their own form or transportation. House Call Groceries is a great addition to a college resume!

This is a great opportunity for mother/daughter or father/son activity where you give to the community; teach a valuable lesson in the joy of volunteering and gain credentials for college resumes and job applications.
