Christmas and Hanukkah Are Here

A listing of the holiday weekend's events

Seeing that Hanukkah is underway and Christmas is Sunday, we suspect most people will stay in the house for most if not all of this weekend. For that reason, this week's Get Out focuses on holiday events and observances in and near Parsippany. If the holiday doesn't hold any particular fascination for you (or if you feel the need to, um, get out of the house), we'll probably see you at the. Nothing wrong with that at all. Of course, if you do celebrate one of the winter holidays (and we include Diwali, Festivus and the winter Solstice), we wish you and your friends and family peace, love and joy. Make it a safe weekend.

Why Go: You want to enjoy the camaraderie, sing songs, enjoy sweets.

Charles Dickens' A Christmas CarolWhen/Where: Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 23, 24 and 25, 8 p.m. at , 36 Madison Ave, Madison.
Why go: What's Christmas without Scrooge, especially in this new incarnation of the funny, dark, and haunting morality tale.
