Work search getting you down? This seminar may help: The  presents How to End the Job Search Pain and Get Your Life Back, featuring career transition coach Neil Cooper's inspiring program for business owners and people between jobs or looking for new careers. The free event takes place Tuesday at the library at 68 Nokomis Ave.

The Parsippany Township Council gets down to business Tuesday at Town Hall at 7:30 p.m. Issues on the agenda include a votes on proposals to lower sewer rates and install solar panels at the Parsippany Free Public Library on Halsey Road.

Neighbors-Helping-Neighbors, a free peer-led volunteer support group for people actively looking for work meets Tuesday at 7:15 p.m. at the  at 68 Nokomis Ave. in Hiawatha.

PSGMC peer support group for job seekers meets Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. at the Parsippany-Troy Hills Free Public Library at 449 Halsey Road to hear guest speakers well-versed in all facets of career search and development.

American Legion Post 249 is still inspiring the holiday spirit. The veterans' group shares the holiday giving season by teaming up with the U.S. Marine Corps for the annual Toys for Tots gift drive. Toy donations will be accepted daily from 3-7 p.m. through Dec. 9 at the post, 91 N. Beverwyck Road. For more info, call 973-335-9266.

Need a change in your calisthenics regimen? Try Masala Bhangra Fitness. The weekly classes teach an exercise dance routine that mixes the high-energy folk dance of Bhangra (Indian dance) with Bollywood moves. Classes are $40 for five weeks and take place Saturdays from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at 246 Route 46. For more information, call 201-230-5536.

High schoolers can get an early leg up on the Scholastic Aptitude Test. A Free SAT Practice Test in Parsippany will be held Saturday from 10 a.m.-2:30 p.m. at Centenary College, 300 Littleton Road. A fully-proctored practice SAT will show teens what to expect in a test-like environment.

Give the give of art this holidays: Check out the Craftsman Farms 2012 Holiday Trunk Show, which features all kinds of beautiful handmade crafts and items to add a little style and history to your Chanukah and Christmas gift-gving. The event runs Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. through Dec. 9 at the shop in the Stickley Museum at Craftsman Farms at 2352 Route 10 West.

Try your luck at St. Peter the Apostle Church's Weekly Bingo. It's easy to play, you can win prizes and it's free! The event is held Sundays from 6-10 p.m. at 179 Baldwin Road.

If your marriage is ending, get some support. In Parsippany, that takes two forms: The Crossroads Divorce Support Group, a free gathering for divorced men and women of any faith that offers special events, community and healing, is presented at St. Peter the Apostle Church Sunday at 7 p.m. at 179 Baldwin Road. The other group, also offered Sunday at 7 p.m., is called Puzzle Pieces - A Divorced/Separated Support Group. This one is secular and has a fee—just a dollar—and takes place at the Parsippany Police Athletic League Center at 33 Baldwin Road.
