Does Your Kid Have Talent? Check This Workshop Out

Black History Month celebration and a cyberbullying seminar on tap.

A one-day workshop for children interested in acting, singing or dancing, a celebration for Black History Month and a cyberbullying seminar—here's what's happening this week:

Monday—"Parsippany's Got Talent," a one-day workshop in acting, singing, dancing, comedy, dramatics and scenery design at the from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Cost is $60 for each child and $54 for each sibling.

Tuesday—Jerricho Cotchery, of the New York Jets, will be among those recognized at the  at the , fifth floor, in Morristown at 6 p.m. The event will recognize Alderwoman Carolyn Blackman, of Dover; retired Capt. Don Wactor, of the Orange Police Department; Dr. Felicia Jamison, educator/historian; Morristown High School Principal Linda Murphy and Executive Director David Walker, of the Morristown Neighborhood House.

Wednesday— will host Early Bird Networking, an opportunity sponsored by the to connect with other business professionals. Pre-registration is preferred on its website or by calling 973-402-6400.

Thursday—The will host Stop Cyberbullying for Parents/Adults from 7 to 8 p.m. The event is limited to 12 people. To register, call 973-887-5150, ext. 233. This is the first of a two-part series. The second half will be held on March 3.

Friday—The Fab Four returns to the Mayo Center for the Performing Arts in Morristown with the sounds of the Beatles at 8 p.m. Tickets range from $37 to $57.

Saturday— wil host the Winter Fun Fair from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Sunday—A moderate Showshoe Adventure will be held at Pyramid Mountain for ages 8 and up at 12:30 p.m. Cost is $10 for educational program and snowshow use and $3 for snowshoe trek (no snowshoe use). For more information, call 973-334-3130.
