A fatal car crash on Tuesday afternoon killed one driver, according to CBS, on Interstate 280 westbound near exit 1.

Steven Peltz, 51, of Flanders, was pronounced dead at the scene after he struck a trailer that had unfastened from a semi-trailer truck, according to NJ.com.

A GoFundMe project has since been set up for the "husband and father of two, (who) tragically lost his life in an auto accident on his way home from work" and those who would like to donate to help the family can do so at this website.
