This weekend, many of us will remember the legacy and lessons of the slain civil rights hero Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. This installment of Get Out features some events designed to remember Dr. King, whose birthday is Jan. 15. We also have ideas that could help with ongoing resolutions to lose weight and/or get healthy, everything from Masala Bhangra to power stepping. Your kids between the ages of 3 and 6 are ready for a preparatory piano course.

"Damn Yankees"
When/Where: Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Raritan Valley Community College.
Why Go: To see a great play about baseball in the midst of football and basketball season. And did we mention the play won many awards when it was on Broadway?

When/Where: Saturday at 9 p.m. at , Morristown
Why Go: You want to hear a live band performing covers from the 1970s through today while enjoying a beer or three.

When/Where: Sunday at 9:15 a.m. at
