Get Out: St. Paddy's Celebrations, Flapjack Fundraiser, and More

Not sure what to do this weekend? We have some options for you.

It's another event-filled weekend in the area for you to enjoy! Of course it's St. Patrick's Day on Saturday, and there are plenty of things to do to show your spirit. The Parsippany High School track team booster club is also having a fundraiser that's sure to please your taste buds. 

St. Patrick's Day Dinner
When/Where: Saturday at 6 p.m. at the American Legion Parsippany Post No. 249, 91 North Beverwyck Road
Why Go: You must call ahead of time, but this is the traditional dinner with corned beef with all the trimmings you've been looking for.
Cost: $15, but you must call 973-334-9266 and order ahead of time, so don't wait!

Parsippany H.S. Track Booster Club Flapjack Fundraiser
When/Where: Saturday at 8 to 10 a.m. at  in Parsippany.
Why Go: Because you get the works and can raise funds for one of the local sports teams. Get your tickets from Maurice Saunders at msaund69@verizon.net or from any track athlete at Parsippany High School.
Cost: $8, but

When/Where: Saturday at 3 and 8 p.m. at , Morristown
Why Go: You want to celebrate the actual St. Pat's Day with music, song and dance.
Cost: $32 to $57


When/Where:
 Friday at 3 p.m., , 9 Main Street, Madison
Why Go:
 To learn about Irish history, join in crafts and activities, and enjoy refreshments. For ages 5 to 10. 
Cost: $3 for participants. Regular admission for others.

Big Apple Circus
When/Where: Friday from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at , Saturday at 12:30 p.m. and Sunday at 12:30 p.m.
Why Go: To see the circus's "Dream Big" show, complete with acrobats, trapeze flyers, a juggler and much more.
Cost: $20

Finnegan's Wake
When/Where: Friday at 7 p.m. at 65 Hamburg Turnpike in Butler.
Why Go: The St. Anthony's Knights of Columbus & Columbiettes will be hosting a traditional Irish dinner and comedy event in honor of St. Patrick's Day at the Knights of Columbus.
Cost: $40

Graffiti Class
When/Where: Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at , Montville
Why Go: To learn how about the art of graffiti from some experts.
Cost: $15
