Halloween Night in Mt. Tabor

Many holiday activities are postponed due to the storm, but the quaint Parsippany neighborhood showed All Hallow's spirit.

Mount Tabor's Simpson Avenue was busy Monday night with people celebrating Halloween night. Most were in the Parsippany enclave to get their fright on as the District 1 firehouse's second annual Haunted House. Funds raised from the event go to support the volunteer fire department's efforts. And the Haunted House was not the only Halloweening going on: Many neighborhood homeowners got into the spirit, showing off decorations that gave Mount Tabor a decidedly spooky—and festive—air, making Halloween 2011, despite the surprise weekend Snowtober storn, a memorable holiday.
