Hot, Hot, Hot: Parsippany Residents Try to Beat the Heat

Even the hottest of days can be enjoyed in a Parsippany park.

With the mercury climbing ever closer to the 100-degree mark, Parsippany residents are making the best of a steamy situation. Patch found people taking refuge under trees, downing cool water and just having fun. Enjoy the photos, and try to keep cool!

The township offers four cooling stations for those in need. 

  • Community Center, 1130 Knoll Rd., Lake Hiawatha (9 a.m. - 5 p.m.)
  • Main Library, 449 Halsey Rd,. Parsippany (9 a.m. - 9 p.m.)
  • Lake Hiawatha Library, 68 Nokomis Ave., Lake Hiawatha ( 10 a.m. - 9 p.m.)
  • Mt. Tabor Library, 31 Trinity Park, Mt. Tabor (10 a.m. - 9 p.m.)
