Meet Parsippany Patch’s New Editor

New Parsippany Patch editor Kim Tran has been with Patch for three years and looks forward to meeting and covering more of the community.

Parsippany Patch has something new today: a new permanent editor.

My colleagues have done a fantastic job and today I take over the wheel.

So just who exactly is this new editor, you ask?

Well, I was the editor of Nanuet Patch, Rockland County, since it launched in August 2010 and took over Nyack Patch in September 2012. I transferred to Morristown and Morris Township-Morris Plains Patch at the end of March and am the new Parsippany Patch editor as of today.

I have written for publications such as the Columbia MissourianVox Magazine and Inside Columbia Magazine

I was born in California, raised in Texas and after going to the University of Missouri's Journalism school, I moved to the Northeast to be near family.

I look forward to meeting more of Parsippany Patch’s readers so if you see me walking around town or typing away in one of Parsippany's many coffee shops, please don’t hesitate to say hello, share a news tip or ask a question. You can also email me at Kim@Patch.com.

Happy Monday!

Your New Editor,
Kim Tran
