Morris County Under Tornado Watch

The remains of Tropical Storm Karen are bringing wet weather and a tornado watch to Morris County.

The National Weather Service issued a tornado watch at 9 a.m. on Monday throughout the state, the watch is in effect until 5 p.m.

Heavy rain is expected throughout the county today, with the possibility of gusty winds. Thunderstorms are expected early this afternoon into the night.

High temperatures will stay around 79, with lows in the lower 50s tonight. Tuesday looks to be sunny with a slight break in the heat, a high of 71 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.
