Parsippany's Temple Beth Am Celebrates Its Class of 2011

Teens mark their confirmation during a special service.

Tenth graders stood in front of their congregation to lead a Shabbat service, read the Torah and share personal reflections. It was all part of a special 2011 confirmation service held June 10 at Temple Beth Am on South Beverwyck Road.

Executive Director Marc Colton, executive director of the 45-year-old Reform congregation, said his greatest wish for the graduates is that “they continue their Jewish education throughout their lives and live their lives using the principles they have been taught.”
