Par-Troy Mom Honored as Magazine's 'Working Mother of the Year'

Insurance executive Michaela Nardella is one of 75 'mega-moms' praised in Working Mother magazine.

Parsippany resident Michaela Nardella is one of 75 women being praised by Working Mother magazine, the Daily Record reported.

The Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey executive, mom to three teens, is featured in the publication's october-November issue as a winner of its annual “Working Mothers of the Year” award.

Nardella and the other honorees were presented their awards at a gala ceremony in New York that was held in October. She was nominated for the distinction by Alison Banks-Moore, chief diversity officer at Horizon BCBSNJ, and 19-year-old Anna Nardella, who is majoring in chemical engineering major at Northeastern University and said she wanted others to get a glimpse the mom she knows and loves each day.
