Parsippany Hills High School offers SAT and PSAT help for high school juniors and seniors preparing for higher education. Lentz & Lentz PSAT/SAT Prep is offered at the Hills Thursday at 6:30 p.m.The program costs $399.

Get started on early holiday shopping at the All Saints Academy Fall Extravaganaza Auction. The sale takes place Friday at 5:30 p.m. at All Saints Academy, 189 Baldwin Road. Admission is $25.

Try Masala Bhangra Fitness. The weekly classes teach an exercise dance routine that mixes the high-energy folk dance of Bhangra (Indian dance) with Bollywood moves. High schoolers can get an early leg up on the Scholastic Aptitude Test. A Free SAT Practice Test in Parsippany will be held Saturday from 10 a.m.-2:30 p.m. at Centenary College, 300 Littleton Road. A fully-proctored practice SAT will show teens what to expect in a test-like environment.

Support young emergency responders at the Flapjack Fundraiser for Parsippany Volunteer Ambulance Junior Squad. Applebee's at 1057 Route 46 is site site for a benefit for local high schoolers who volunteer their time in the field of emergency medical services. This fundraiser will provide them with the funds to purchase uniforms and cover education expenses that are no longer provided with the EMS Training fund. Admission is $10; the event begins at 8 a.m.

Cancer of the pancreas is one of the deadliest forms of the disease, and it doesn't get nearly the attention or support that other forms of cancer receive. The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network wants to change that. You can help the organization by participating in or supporting the annual PurpleStride 5k to Fight Pancreatic Cancer. The event features an appearance by Lisa Niemi Swayze, widow of the "Dirty Dancing" actor/dancer Patrick Swayze, who died from the disease. The fundraising walk kicks off Sunday at 9 a.m. at the Mack-Cali Business Campus at 1 Campus Drive.

Try your luck at St. Peter the Apostle Church's Weekly Bingo. It's easy to play, you can win prizes and it's free! The event is held Sundays from 6-10 p.m. at 179 Baldwin Road.

If your marriage is ending, you are not alone. You have two choices for weekly support groups in Parsippany. The Crossroads Divorce Support Group, a free gathering for divorced men and women of any faith that offers special events, community and healing, is presented at St. Peter the Apostle Church Sunday at 7 p.m. at 179 Baldwin Road. The other group, also offered Sunday at 7 p.m., is called Puzzle Pieces - A Divorced/Separated Support Group. This one is secular and has a fee—just a dollar—and takes place at the Parsippany Police Athletic League Center at 33 Baldwin Road.
