I was heading to class in high school. Each classroom had its own television because we had a broadcast journalism class at school. The TV was on and my teacher was glued to the screen with her hand over her mouth. I looked at the TV and saw smoke billowing out of the twin towers.
I didn't understand what was going on at the time and didn't think it was real, but knew something horrible had definitely happened having seen my teacher's face.
We watched the news on the classroom TV for the rest of class.
