Resident: Show Support, Attend Waterview Meeting

Lake Hiawatha resident Nick Homyak pens Patch Letter to the Editor.

This letter is to appeal to the residents whom are not on vacation or who have not already added their numbers to the many who stand opposed to the unnecessary, undesired developed re-zoning ordinance needed for the RDR developer to proceed with his "monster plan" to remove forever a original and last remaining natural landscape here in Parsipanny.

Despite overwhelming public discontent; our present Town Council along with the Planning Board seem determined to accommodate this selfish developer.

When one drives along Route 46 and sees the already "ugly" and over done commercial sprawl of shopping malls; many already harboring empty stores and retail space and the numerous office complexes, one can detect, see this unique peace of Mother Earth breaking up the ugliness and contrasting somehow an element of remaining beauty, through its trees and slopped landmass nesting and protecting, wildlife and the Troybrook ecosystem.

Parsipanny although once mentioned as a top 14th or 15th place to live in Jersey would not have had been so without landscapes such as this still intact.

RESIDENTS OF LAKE HIAWATHA, please show some measure of report by attending this meeting or emailing; contacting your Town Council and let them know your feelings, It is not a done deal and Lake Hiawatha needs to believe it can be stopped.

Respect yourself and your community. NO REZONING ORDINANCE, DON'T LET THE COUNCIL ROUGH SHOT OVER YOUR SENSE OF PLACE. CELEBRATE AMERICA BY GETTING INVOLVED.
